By suppressing the renin-angiotensin-aldosterone system (RAAS), it aids in preventing myocardial remodeling and fibrosis, thereby enhancing cardiac function and decreasing the incidence of postoperative atrial fibrillation, heart failure, and stroke. Carperitide acetate inhibits endothelin-1 secretion in a dose-dependent way.
